The blog has guides on dive skills, certification, dive planning and dive sites.

The calculators cover:

• Nitrox: maximum operating depth (MOD), best mix and equivalent air depth (EAD)
• Trimix: operating depth range, equivalent narcotic depth (END), best mix and partial-pressure blending
• SAC rate: surface air consumption in L/min from a logged dive
• Gas planning: gas required, minimum reserve (rock bottom) and turn pressure by the rule of thirds
• CNS / OTU: oxygen exposure based on ppO₂ and time
• DECO 2000: the dive table and a planner for single and repetitive dives

How the calculators work

Each calculator shows the formula it uses, how it rounds the result and which limits it applies. You can compare the numbers with your course material instead of taking them on trust.

For example, the nitrox calculator rounds MOD down and EAD up, so the result stays on the cautious side.

The calculations run in your browser. The values you type are not sent to a server.

About DECO 2000

DECO 2000 is the dive table developed by Dr. Max Hahn and used in CMAS training. It is designed for 0-700 m altitude with an ascent rate of 10 m/min.

The site shows the full table on one page. The planner uses the same table: it rounds depth and time up to the next table values and gives the no-deco limit, group letter and wait before flying.

What the tools don't replace

The calculators and guides are for education and planning practice. They don't replace dive training, a dive computer or the current printed table.

If a result doesn't match what you were taught, don't use it for a dive. Check with your instructor and let us know.
